We believe creativity can do more than capture attention.

It can build connection, shift narratives, and empower communities to lead their own change.

Myanmar Collectif is a co-creative platform bringing together artists and communities from Myanmar and the UK. Using human centered design, we co-create work that tells stories, connects people, and carries messages of solidarity.

Print keeps
stories alive.

We use print because it stays. A Risoprint zine, a lino cut, a screenprint : these are objects you can hold, share, put on your wall, carry with you. They don't disappear when a news cycle moves on. For communities whose stories risk being buried, print is an act of insistence. This happened. This matters. Every piece is co-created with artists from Myanmar and the UK. Every technique leaves a trace of the hand that made it. When a print is bought, displayed, or passed onnthe story travels with it.

Making Space

We bring work into spaces where it can be experienced together in person and online. From wheat paste walls built collectively in community spaces, to spatial galleries that can be visited from anywhere in the world, we create environments where stories don't just hang on a wall but open up a conversation. Our events are participatory by design. People don't just come to look they come to make, to contribute, to connect. Our online galleries extend that reach, ensuring the work is accessible to the diaspora, to allies, and to anyone who needs to find it.

Co-creation

Everything we make, we make together. Co-creation is not a method we apply to our work it is the work. We partner with artists, communities and activists from Myanmar and the UK, bringing different skills, perspectives and lived experiences into the same process. No single voice leads. The work that emerges belongs to everyone who shaped it. This matters because the people closest to a story are best placed to tell it. Our role is to create the conditions for that to happen the space, the tools, the trust.

Shattered Pieces

Shattered Pieces is an online exhibition and solidarity initiative created in response to the Myanmar earthquake. Co-produced with artists and photographers from Myanmar and its diaspora, the project bears witness to devastation while centring the voices of those closest to it. Limited edition prints are available to purchase, with proceeds directed to grassroots recovery efforts on the ground. A spatial gallery extends the work into an immersive digital environment, inviting audiences to sit with the stories being told rather than simply scroll past them.

SolidariTEA

From the suffragette tea rooms of Britain to the activist teahouses of Myanmar, tea has quietly fuelled resistance. These everyday spaces became safe havens for bold ideas where community, courage, and change began to brew. SolidariTEA honoured this legacy creating space for conversation, creativity, and collective action in support of Myanmar’s ongoing fight for democracy.

"For the Love
of Heroes" Exhibition

A tribute to the fearless. A visual testament to those who refuse to surrender.

Since the 2021 coup, countless heroes in Burma have risked everything from: freedom fighters, healers, educators, fundraisers, and community builders. Their resistance is woven into every act of courage, and this exhibition captures their untold stories through powerful, transformative art.

Myanmar Collectif, are honoured to present co-created works with heroes. Designs that fuse different voices, ethnicities, and experiences into bold statements the world needs to hear. Each poster tells a story. Each story demands to be seen.
